Rebekah Beam
Ballet
Rebekah Beam began her dance training in Bakersfield, CA, later studying at Westside School of Ballet and attending top summer intensives on full scholarship, including San Francisco Ballet and the Bolshoi Academy. She briefly trained at the Bolshoi in Moscow and the Kirov Academy in D.C. before a knee injury shifted her focus to pre-veterinary studies.
While in college at Washington University in St. Louis, she continued dancing, performing in original works and with the Saint Louis Ballet under Gen Horiuchi. Her favorite role was “Ginger Rogers” in Astaire by Francis Patrelle.
Rebekah has taught ballet for many years and is passionate about sharing the life skills dance provides—discipline, resilience, and grace.
